YouTube clone? RSS Reader? w00t?
Seems I didn’t post alot here yesterday did I :p. I got a bad cold currently
. But I’ll try to keep updated.
They call it Soapbox on MSN Video and it so seems Microsoft are bringing some decent features around for Vista and its own web
. What with a report on Digg that a Youtube clone from Microsoft is coming, sounds cool, but will be as successful and big as Youtube or/and Google Video huh? I don’t know about Youtubes history much but I do hear that it grew pretty quick :p. So if this clone did become as big and successful as Youtube/Google Video would it have something decent for us? We will have to see!
And now to an RSS Desktop Feed Reader! Where from? Microsoft! My reaction is simply “we need it!”, even though there are decent RSS readers like Google Desktop and others, I think it’d be interesting to see what Microsoft has made of an RSS reader
, as like the Youtube I ask will it be something basic? something bloated? or perhaps simple yet bloody useful! The app is called Microsoft Max, and apparently you’d need .NET 3.0 RC1 to run it, Techcrunch (The tech site which has the article) was down earlier but seems to be all fine now, you can read the whole article on the RSS reader by going here.
